Job Purpose
This position works independently under moderate supervision, performs planned and corrective maintenance on electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems. This position handles the accounting aspects of the facilities operations area to include postage, requisitions, inventory, departmental supplies, etc. This position coordinates with internal and external customers to provide facility services for conference room set up, event and meeting services, and general maintenance including coordinating facility management work orders from pick up to completion. This position is an active member of the Safety Committee and supports Business Continuity efforts in the field office.
Logistics: This is an on-site position located at 223 North Lois Ave, Tampa, Florida 33609.
What You Will be Doing:
• Coordination, assignment and monitoring of facility management work orders to include timely pick-up and follow through to completion. Perform trouble shooting and basic repairs to include plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems.
• Coordination with internal and external resources to provide facility services (events, meetings, catering, external equipment rental, room setups, general maintenance)
• Performs as a team lead -
Recognize gaps and proactively engage in departmental functions to meet required service levels
Identify and implement process improvement opportunities with leadership
Act as a backup for manager in manager’s absence
• Active participation on Safety Committee and/or Business Continuity Team
• The essential functions listed represent the major duties of this role, additional duties may be assigned.
What You Must Have:
• 4 years related work experience to include hands on facilities experience
• High school diploma or GED
Additional Required Qualifications
Facility services experience including facility maintenance.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Experience with standard office equipment, to include: PC, scanner
Good communication skills
Experience working with internal and external customers of all levels
What We Would Prefer You Have:
• Experience with Facility Automation Systems
• Experience reading building drawings/blueprints
• Experience with Microsoft Access and Publisher
• Experience with the use of diagrams and verbal set up instructions for room set ups, etc.
• Experience working with vendors on event set ups (caterers, event coordinators)
General Physical Demands
Heavy work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently.

Must be able to travel to multiple locations for work (i.e. travel to attend meetings, events, conferences). Frequently
