The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Tampa
The role you’ll contribute: The Cardiac Catheterization nurse will provide quality nursing care by assessing patient status during Cardiology related procedures. Demonstrates educational and managerial skills in dealing with other department personnel and quality assurance programs. Is responsible for nursing care for those patients in the Cardiac Cath/Lab, Echocardiography, Cardiac Rehab and Stress Testing Lab.

• Conscious Sedation
• Circulator for cardiac catheterization procedures and electrophysiology procedures and peripheral procedures
• Coordinate effective handling of emergencies
• Effective communication with physicians and interdepartmental staff
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
• 500 hours at a level 2 cardiac catheterization lab or will train appropriate applicant.
• Nursing- Associate Degree
• Minimum of 1 year experience as an RN in a hospital setting. (Telemetry/PCU etc.)
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Florida
• BLS
• ACLS
• Conscious sedation certification within 6 months of hire date
