The Client Acquisition Team Supervisor provides full leadership and supervisory responsibility. Provides operational/service leadership and direction toteam(s). Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge through provision of value-added perspectives or advisory services. May contribute to thedevelopment of new techniques, models and plans within area of expertise. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required.Generally has responsibility for volume, quality, timeliness of end results and shared responsibility for planning and budgets. Work affects anentire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family. Full supervisory responsibility,ensuring motivation and development of team through professional leadership to include duties such as performance evaluation,compensation, hiring, disciplinary and terminations as well as direction of daily tasks and responsibilities.Responsibilities:Performs CIP process by identifying and confirming prospect's identity through the various methods available according to IPB US procedures, as needed.Manage DocuSign flow and coordinate with the Client Welcome Specialist to walk client through the process, as needed.Escalate any issues or identified discrepancies encountered throughout the analysis, review, and completion of KYC activities.Review with Client Welcome Specialist account (banking and/or investment) applications and account opening/structure documentation to ensure accuracy and that all policies and procedures are met, as needed.Coordinate with internal teams to ensure that client's relationship and account opening process is carried out as efficiently as possible, escalating when necessary.Control the quality of the application and ensure accuracy on all of the client's information to avoid rejections.Drive client satisfaction by working with Client Welcome Specialist to manage customer expectations and use appropriate resources and channels to present effective solutions to client's needs.Adhere to strict regulatory and compliance/AML guidelines, policies, regulations and requirements.Lead a group of CWS teammates located in multiple locations.Host and conduct weekly team meetings to discuss & implements new procedures, identify team issues/challenges.Assign onboarding cases to CWS team members, ensuring a balanced and equitable distribution.Mentor and help train new hires on CAT onboarding procedures.Address team concerns and escalate to Unit Head and onboarding partners as needed.Submit cases in Sharepoint for review, evaluation, and disposition by Checker Managers and/or IBAML.Process & approve time sheets, vacation/time off schedule for CWS teammates, ensuring appropriate coverage.Conduct evaluations for CWS members assigned to the team.Develop and maintain MIS for team members against team & individual goals/scorecards.
