Amyris is experiencing tremendous growth whereby we have created a new way of working through the establishment of the Amyris Business Center ("ABC"). As a member of ABC, your role will participate in the strategic implementation of our shared services model. Come in on the ground floor of an exciting initiative to transform the way our operations are carried out across our Finance, Procurement, HR and IT groups.The Accounts Payable Specialist will process the day-to-day vendor/supplier invoices and payments, while providing excellent customer service.Join Amyris Business Center ("ABC") and work directly to:•Increase collaboration and knowledge sharing•Enhance our current policies•Share and develop further subject matter expertise•Align processes company-wide•Standardize how we handle integrations and onboard new business•Achieve operational excellenceResponsibilities:Process various types of accounts payable transactions including vendor invoices, recurring payments, and manual check requests in accordance with policies and controlsProcess 3-way and 2-way matchEnsure invoices are accurately coded, approved, posted and processed within established deadlinesInvestigate and resolve problems associated with processing of invoices and purchase ordersGenerate weekly check run and process manual Wire and ACH paymentsUpdate General LedgerRespond and interact with internal customers and vendors/suppliersGenerate reports for review such as exception reports, accounts payable aging reports, and other month-end reports as requestedEnsure the completeness, timeliness and accuracy of the dataQualifications:SAP or NetSuite proficiencyMust have completed some form of higher education or have equivalent AP experience3+ years directly applicable accounts payable and general ledger experienceStrong customer service orientation and ability to successfully deal with employee and vendor questions and resolve issuesAbsolute integrity and the use of good judgment to handle the confidential nature of duties, tasks and informationExperience with 3-way and 2-way PO matchingAbility to process a high volume with accuracyAbility to meet critical deadlinesProficiency with Word and Excel and efficient data entry skills#LI-JK1At Amyris, we believe that diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) is essential to our core values.
