RESPONSIBILITIESThe Compensation Analyst (CA) is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, evaluating, and recommending pay actions that result in the retention of a talented, highly engaged and productive workforce that include base and incentive compensation, shift differentials, weekend pay premiums and similar. The CA must be familiar with the major metropolitan markets the Company does business in to ensure offers and ongoing pay programs are competitive and appropriate. The CA reviews compensation at group or individual levels for various job roles to identify peer equity problems and recommend solutions. The CA works closely with the Company's recruiting function to align new hire with internal compensation. The CA supports the Compensation Partner Analyst within the development of compensation and principles and communicates such as necessary. Using data from the Company's HRIS, the CA prepares analytical, comparative, and information level reports related to organization compensation, equity, and trends. The CA supports the Compensation Partner Analyst to prepare surveys, for management and employees, staying abreast of continuously shifting compensation landscape to ensure the programs offered by the company remain relevant, affordable, competitive, and produce the required and expected results. The CA is self-directed and in collaboration with the Compensation Partner Analyst works independently as necessary and applies discretion and independent judgment in decision making.QUALIFICATIONSEducation: Associate degree preferred or 5 years' experience in analysisCertifications/Licenses: Valid state Driver's License and compliance with the company Driver Safety Operations and Motor Vehicle Records Check Policy is required.Core Capabilities:Analysis & Critical Thinking: Critical thinking skills including solid problem solving, analysis, decision-making, planning, time management and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively with sensitive and confidential material and sometimes emotionally charged matters.Communication Skills: Good command of the English language. Second language is an asset but not required. Effective communication skills (oral, written, presentation) is an active listener, and effectively provides balanced feedback.Customer Service & Organizational Awareness: Strong customer focus. Ability to build an engaging culture of quality, performance effectiveness and operational excellence through best practices, strong business and political acumen, collaboration, and partnerships, as well as a positive employee, physician and community relations.Self-Management: Effectively manages own time, conflicting priorities, self, stress, and professional development. Self-motivated and self-starter with ability work independently with limited supervision. Ability to work remotely effectively as required. Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-site environment with demonstrated ability to juggle competing priorities and demands.Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.A minimum of 1-2 years of Workday experience preferred.
