Join one of Tampa's publicly traded industry leaders! Our client is looking for strong payroll talent to add to their team while they complete a system implementation. This position will focus on payroll related to US operations and will benefit from a solid understanding of time and absence tracking/reconciling. This is a temporary assignment, working 40 hours a week with overtime potential! Reference and background check will be required.Payroll Specialist Benefits and Compensation: FULLY REMOTE optional! GREAT leadership and high visibility Highly competitive rate of $25.00 - $29.00 per hour (commensurate with experience) Overtime potential Health and dental insurance after initial 90 days of employment Holiday pay & Bonus pay Payroll Specialist Job Duties: Adheres to an end-to-end processing schedule and ensures processing schedule tasks are completed timely Supports the audit Processes and review off-cycle manual checks such as terminations, adjustments, etc. Works closely with Human Resources to ensure personnel data is received timely and accurately Accurately calculates various benefits - retirement, stock, deferred comp, disability, life insurance, etc Researches and resolves any pay issues or discrepancies Track and reconcile time and absence Maintains strict confidentiality of employee, financial and company records Payroll Specialist Skills/Qualifications: Associate's degree in Accounting preferred 2+ years of multi-state payroll experience required Advanced ADP experience required Experience with all types of payroll deductions (401k, garnishments, benefits, etc.) Strong Microsoft Office skills Solid critical thinking and analysis and attention to detail Superb communications skills required At AccountAbility Staffing, a Division of Taylor White, we specialize exclusively in Accounting & Finance leadership roles in the greater Tampa Bay area.
