**This position is open to remote work**The Workers Compensation Analyst is responsible for administrative support and reporting for our Workers Compensation program. Work includes gathering data, reporting, updating files, and documentation of claim development, as well as working on our annual renewal, auditing, and invoicing processes. Strong written and verbal communications skills are necessary for liaising with management at all levels, insurance brokers, third-party adjusters, and attorneys.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for data trending and analysis. Prepare monthly summary for distribution to key stakeholders.Responsible for billing register and bank account reconciliationResponsible for maintaining documentation of premiums, losses, and insurance policies.Serve as a key contact for the annual insurance renewal processServe as a key contact in the annual auditing of payroll for Workers CompensationReport claims to the carriers, gather information from internal customers, provide documentation for the claim, present estimates, respond to legal proceedings, etc.Manage incoming and outgoing certificates of insurance in accordance with contractual obligationsReview invoices for policies and claims services. Monitor purchase order creation and payment.Provide training and educational materials to enhance work comp awareness with management, supervisors, and employeesCoordinate the information-gathering process for the annual insurance renewal submission for state-run workers' compensation programsEnsures all incidents are appropriately reported and subsequent work comp claims created when neededAssists in the investigation of work comp claims, as necessaryCoordinate and participate in quarterly claims reviewSkills/Qualifications:Strong analytical skillsWell organized, attention to detail, and effective time management skillsExcellent professional written and verbal communication skillsProficient with Excel, Word, and PowerPointFunctions with a sense of urgencyEducation and Experience:Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent years of experience0-2 years of experience with workers' compensationHighly proficient in Microsoft Office 365, specifically in ExcelDetail-oriented, and able to identify and correct inconsistent data or informationWilling to learn new software programs or familiarity with Origami RiskAble to meet deadlines, strong time management, able to work independently
