Job Location: Virtual but commutable to the Tampa, Florida MetLife office
Role Value Proposition :
This position will support RIS Service and Operations and will focus on managing the Funds Recovery Unit. This unit is responsible for performing outreach to seek reimbursement of overpayments made to our customers and recording of payments received. The unit is also responsible for outreach to customers that have benefit payments that are due and remain outstanding and reissuing those payments where applicable. The manager of these team focus will be ensuring the timely administration of key processes as outlined in policies, posting reimbursements and banking updates as received. As well as the development of the team and managing demand and capacity to meet high volumes of case work across multiple systems.
Key Responsibilities :
• Manage, coach, and develop personnel involved in supporting core business functions of the unit.
• Ensure that all relevant service standards and financial accountability goals are met consistently, and a high level of customer service is provided to both internal and external customers.
• Develop and ensure teams use standard repeatable business processes
• Translate senior management vision and assists with developing the department’s vision, strategy, service levels, and business objectives. Communicates vision and strategy to staff
• Propose, evaluate, and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness
• Partner with other operational areas to build strong working relations and improve workflow and organizational issues
• Ensure all internal and external audits have been fully coordinated and thoroughly addressed within their specified timeframes
• Identifies, locates, and provides needed training and resources.
• Track and report on operational metrics
• Perform other duties as assigned or required
Required Experience:
• 4-year college degree preferred or equivalent experience
• Administrative process management experience
• Knowledge of performance management
• Experience managing organizational change, providing leadership, and delegating.
• Strong communication skills including presentations.
