The Engineering Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for leading a variety of engineering activities including the design, acquisition and deployment of hardware, software, and network infrastructure in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead efforts to ensure quality standards are being met within existing and planned Cyber Security ramework.Responsibilities:Evaluate vendor products to deliver a world class security framework for Linux, Unix and MacOS systemsWorking with various teams and peers to design, document, build, test, and deploy a security framework for Linux, Unix, and MacOS.Develop automation using Chef/Ansible and other CI/CD tools.Support, maintain, and develop agents, scripts and various tools used to secure Citi's platforms.Serve as a technology subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders and provide direction for all firm mandated controls and compliance initiatives, all projects within the group and in creating a technology domain roadmapEnsure that all integration of functions meet business goalsDefine necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process enhancementsRecommend product customizations for system integrationIdentify problem causality, business impact, and root causesExhibit knowledge of how own specialty area contributes to the business and apply knowledge of competitors products and servicesAdvise or mentor junior team membersImpact the engineering function by influencing decisions through advice, counsel or facilitating servicesAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualifications:Highly motivated self-starter who enjoys engineering challenges, learning new tools, and technology.Excellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to work with peer security teams in collaborative waysUnderstanding of the standard development processes (TDLC/SDLC/ETLC) and development specific tools are a plusKnowledge of Scripting and Other Programming Languages like Python, Ruby, Java, Go, C++.Experience with automation tools and Vendor products to implement security controls.Education:Bachelor's degree/University degree in computer science or a related field or 4 years of equivalent work experienceJob Family Group: TechnologyJob Family:Systems & EngineeringTime Type:Full timeCiti is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.Qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.Citigroup Inc. and its subsidiaries ("Citi") invite all qualified interested applicants to apply for career opportunities.
