This is a remote/hybrid position for candidates in the St. Louis, Chicago or Merrillville, IN areas. Selected candidate is required to report into the local office approximately twice weekly on a hybrid schedule** TRC Companies (TRC) is a nationally known energy efficiency consultancy. TRC collaborates with clients to develop and implement market transforming programs and initiatives that promote energy efficiency, renewable energy, and green building in multiple market sectors across the US. These initiatives reduce energy costs, improve the health and safety conditions of buildings, while also helping the environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions. TRC acts nationally to address some of our country's most challenging problems: global climate change and energy independence. TRC is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated Energy Efficiency Program - Financial Data Analyst. This position supports the Midwest Energy Efficiency Finance Department. This role will manage multiple contracts from the issuance of incentive checks to the creation of monthly invoices. This position requires a strong background in excel with the ability to analyze and create accurate invoices and reports. This position will require frequent client interactions and the ability to explain complex items in an easy to understand manor. Job Duties Works in business operations organization supporting program/product areas. Performs activities that drive efficient planning and execution of enterprise financial and resource investments across various functions, including but not limited to operations, supply chain, program management, sustainment, business finance, and/or contracts. Financial Management of specialized incentive program types Incentive payment processing Researching and analyzing data Creating forecasting models and accruals Regular communication with customers and utility clients Supporting reporting and visual management requirements Utilizing Lean and Six Sigma principles to develop and improve processes Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degrees from an accredited college or university with a focus in either finance, accounting, IT or another applicable related degree. Understanding of financial processes and metrics Strong process orientation Self-starter who consistently performs with minimal supervision Ability to successfully engage and deliver results in a variety of work projects 4 years or more of advanced Microsoft Excel experience required Desired Skills Knowledge of Energy business and products Aptitude for PMP principles, PMP certification or education Aptitude for Microsoft Dynamics or related CRM type software Experience with SAP Experience with reconciliation Experience working in a technical field Aptitude for Microsoft SharePoint Aptitude for Lean and Six Sigma principles TRC is an equal opportunity employer: disability/veteran.
