Responsibilities:
• Makes and bake all items according to ingredient guideline/recipes.
• Responsible for the proper production of bakery goods, in the absence of baker and/or management.
• Cleans department area, including equipment, containers, storage areas keeping products and supplies well organized.
• Operates equipment.
Demonstrate the ability to be organized and use initiative and work indecently.
Operates price scale with knowledge of current prices. Prices or changes price
• Package merchandise for weekly deliveries (may have to deliver from time to time).
• Prepares and promotes department samples.
• Receives, checking invoice against items received. Promptly clears floor of all restocking equipment.
• Rotates product according to departmental guidelines (FIFO). (cooler & Freezer)
• Takes and processes customer orders according to customer request ensuring that product is ready on time.
• Takes inventory or examines merchandise on a weekly basis, identify items needing to be reordered or replenished.
Qualifications:
• While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly exposed to hot temperatures while working around kitchen equipment.
Stand for long periods of time.
Develop time management authority.
• Employee must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Employee must be at least 18 years old, own transportation.
