(1) Associate’s degree or two-year College equivalent (at least 60 undergraduate semester hours)
(2) Two years of prior-related work experience.
The position requires at least a High School diploma or GED equivalent if substituting experience for education.

Job Description
The position provides technical assistance in all phases of human resources administration to enable effective delivery of human resources services.
Preferred Qualifications
Prefer applicants with:
(1) detail-oriented, excellent organizational skills, proactive and accustomed to meeting deadlines,
(2) experience using a Human Resources Information Systems ( HRIS ) especially (e.g. Datatel /Ellucian Colleague),
(3) experience using an electronic records imaging system (e.g. Perceptive Software’s ImageNow),
(4) proficiency in data entry and records data from electronic and hard copy source materials into system(s) using an electronic keyboard or optical scanner,
(5) strong oral communication skills with the ability to use tact, diplomacy, flexibility and discretion in all interactions,
(6) demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete projects under deadline pressure, (7) computer literacy (Microsoft Office programs including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, & Outlook),
(8) possesses the ability to identify situations that may need further research and/or elevation to management,
(9) the ability to maintain a high level of responsibility regarding the maintenance of confidential information at all times,
(10) the ability to remain open to others’ ideas and exhibits willingness to try new things,
(11) adaptability to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events and
(12) the ability to work in a team environment is essential.
