Overview
SOSi is seeking a HUMINT Analyst (MISO support) who will s erve as HUMINT analyst (All-Source qualified), responsible for managing the collection, processing, exploitation, and production of Human Intelligence (HUMINT ) products in support of a program in Tampa, FL.
Responsibilities
• Conducts in-depth HUMINT research utilizing available collection tools and techniques in accordance with client needs and requirements.
• Provides technical advice and support on the production of HUMINT.
• Utilizes judgment, resourcefulness, and initiative in adapting and applying guidelines, regulations, manuals, and reporting formats/techniques to prepare daily HUMINT products in an accurate, logical, and organized manner.
• Assists in the processing, maintenance, and quality control of information residing in a variety of technical databases.
• Provides advice and guidance on collection, processing, and dissemination of intelligence products.
• Researches new and emerging technologies to assist in intelligence production.
• Interprets guidance and establishes priorities, provides special instructions on difficult and unique operations, and answers technical questions about the work.
• Coordinates analytical recommendations and establishes processes and procedures to deal with specific multidiscipline intelligence problems.
• Interprets organizational guidance for HUMINT production and executes duties in accordance with HUMINT policy.
• Receives special instructions on complex operations and contributes to planning efforts.
• Facilitates interagency collaboration, provides high-level briefing support and technical expertise.
• Assists with the identification and execution of professional development and training needs for improvement of HUMINT production.
Qualifications
• Active in scope TS/SCI Clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related business or technical discipline.
• Requires 3 - 10 years of related experience; significant experience may be substituted in lieu of the degree.
• Ability to interpret existing guidance to solve problems unique to reporting on a wide range of functional and geographic areas, requirements, and tasking documents to determine the value and relevance of HUMINT reports.
• Ability to analyze results and recommend adjustments in response to complex and/or unique assignments.
• CI/HUMINT military course qualifications and experience.
• General understanding of IC architecture and I&W dissemination.
• Proficiency with named HUMINT and Counterintelligence reporting platforms and capabilities.
• Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s degree.
• Experience supporting MISO or related operations.
Working Conditions
• Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Some evening, weekend, or shift work could be required
• Some travel may be required
• Ability to work nonstandard hours and in on-call status for periods of time in support of mission requirements as needed.
