Main Duties & Responsibilities
Primary Job Role Conducts all assigned work in a safe manner, adhering to all applicable safety, environmental and contamination control policies, procedures and regulations. Wears proper personal protective equipment.
Works with management in assigning and supervising technicians. Sets the best possible standards in all duties given him by management and to help the management in all training, testing and evaluations. Works with the leader of personnel in assigned work area.
Ensures assigned technicians are aware of and follow company, industry and site specific safety requirements. Schedules and conducts daily Toolbox Safety Meetings on relevant topics, keeps attendee list documented and saved.
Oversees work flow on assigned projects from start to finish ensuring all work is performed to the quoted scope of work, monitors job expenses for overruns, quotes additional work outside of scope as necessary and communicates regularly on the status of work to internal and external customers.
Serves as an industry expert for his/her functional area. Keeps abreast of newest tooling and service procedures in the industry and determines ways to implement them to maintain a competitive advantage. Works with OEM to troubleshoot and establish procedures for repairs including ability to read and understand engineering drawings. Maintains the highest level of quality for all work performed.
Coordinates management job assignments to technicians. Ensures technicians know their job assignments prior to shift start. Ensures highest  possible utilization of technician time as well as accurate and daily reporting of each technician’s time.
Participates in quoting, scheduling and planning of new service projects.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
Formal Education High School diploma or GED
Experience 7 or more years
Required / Credentials
Able to easily and effectively comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers.
10+ years or equivalent industry experience
Completed all required training curriculum to be designated a Field Service Engineering Supervisor.
Moderate level capability in the use of a computer, Microsoft Office products and relevant Dealer software programs.
Not Required but Highly Desired Criteria
Proficient in the use of a computer, Microsoft Office products and relevant Dealer software programs.
Updating of Knowledge
Job requirements frequently change requiring re-training once or more per year.
