This Job: Vendor Relationship Manager
You'll Report To: Vice President of Innovation and Data
What You'll Do:
The Vendor Relationship Manager will work with the VP of Innovation & Data and Claims leadership to maintain meaningful relationships with all vendors, with a specific focus on claims vendors. He/she will evaluate current vendor relationships and negotiate new contracts where needed to ensure the service needed is met and that services are provided in a timely manner within the specified budget.
What You’ll Do
You'll be Responsible for:
• Responsible for enterprise management of major service providers. The majority of vendor partners are primarily for Claims, however also supports providers for Marketing, Product, Risk, Underwriting and BI technology.
• Reviews, coordinates and makes recommendations on contracts, service level agreements and statements of work.
• Works with internal leadership to develop a company roadmap for strategic resources and vendor needs.
• Identifies potential vendors and seeks relationships specific to our core initiatives.
• Serves as a professional representative for American Integrity in negotiations with vendors and at industry events.
• Negotiates with third party vendors on fee structures as well as on statements of work.
• Coordinates vendor services, processes and methods to approve vendors.
• Develops and ensure organizational visibility on key metrics.
• Holds quarterly quality review of vendors.
• Troubleshoots all vendor problems and present to leadership as needed.
• Monitors vendor performance based on contractual agreements through the use of analytics.
• Conducts audits.
• Develops and sustains strategic relationships with key suppliers and define supplier engagement model.
• Develops, manages and coordinates supplier business reviews.
• Coordinates the development, aggregation and communication of supplier KPIs and performance.
• Manage supplier contracts and ensures contractual compliance.
• Manage execution of RFP and procurement events including gathering, developing recommendations and supplier negotiations.
• Perform data gathering and quantitative data analysis in support of RFP benchmarking programs.
• Negotiate with suppliers for optimal combination of price and service of logistics purchases.
What You’ll Need to be a Top Candidate
What You'll Need to be a Top Candidate:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree im Business, or other related fields required.
Experience: 8-10 years’ of industry experience required. Preferred candidate will have prior experience in vendor management related roles and have a minimum of 5 years claims experience in P&C insurance.

• Demonstrated end-to-end responsibility for identification and mitigation of process gaps related to mandated policies and procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to monitor and analyze vendor performance data both in real time and on a cumulative basis, and make appropriate recommendations to ensure success.

Your Environment:
Working Conditions: Normal business office environment.  Must be able to remain in a stationary position for periods of time while constantly operating a computer and or other office productivity machinery such as a calculator or telephone.  The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery or communicate with coworkers.
Travel: 10-20% as required.
