The Cardiovascular Tech (CV Tech) with Cath Lab experience will also have the opportunity to cross-train in Interventional Radiology (IR)/Special Procedures (SP).  Prior IR/SP experience is a plus.  Qualified CV Techs are encouraged to apply today for immediate consideration.
Required Job Qualifications include:
• Graduate from an AMA School of Radiologic Technology and/or Cardiovascular Technology.
• ARRT Certification in Radiology and/or CVT and/or Paramedic and/or RRT and/or RCIS.
• 1 year grace period for new hires to receive state license, RCIS or ARRT.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and ACLS certification required.
• Knowledge of the use and maintenance of equipment specific to Cardiovascular, Radiological Interventional Technology
• Knowledge of anatomy, physicology, sterile technique and patient positioning techniques specific to CV/Interventional Procedures
• Knowledge of safety practices relative to radiation safety, hazardous material and infection control policies
