ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE
BUSINESS:  Leslie Controls, Inc (A&D)
LOCATION:  Tampa, FL
DIRECT REPORTING: Technical Compliance Supervisor
FUNCTIONAL REPORTING: Quality Manager
POSITION DETAILS
This position is responsible for identifying contractual requirements for compilation, validation and submittal of documentation packages submitted to our customers for approval to ship product. Technical Compliance Analyst will implement quality assurance policies and systems to ensure compliance to ISO and customer requirements. This position will share responsibility of oversight of the management process within Center of Excellence to include but not limited to maintaining Technical Compliance plans, generation and tracking of processes, procedures and oversite of the single source engineering repository (Technical Compliance Center of Excellence).
Principal Activities
• Responsible for the coordination, collection, and assembly of all A&D documentation packages.
• Works directly with the reviewing agencies of our customers to clarify / resolve any documentation questions that arise.
• Works directly with suppliers to address certification questions for required navy documents.
• Coordinates with the Navy program team for government source inspection requests and directly supports the source inspector when they are on site.
• Coordinates with the Customer program team for Customer source inspection requests and directly supports the source inspector when they are on site.
• Coordinates the activities of the onsite Quality Assurance Representatives. (DCMA)
• Participate in various process improvement projects and promote the pursuit of continuous improvement.
• Assist with implementation and management of the review of released engineering change data and change documentation activities to ensure adherence to Technical Compliance procedures and policy.
• On-going management of Quality System documented information.
• Plan and participate in internal Quality Assurance audits. Coordinate, evaluate, and assist in developing action plans and follow up of quality issues.
• Track and maintain CAPA system and metrics.
• All other duties and tasks as assigned.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience with DOD Contract Coded notes.
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System (Epicor Vantage Software a plus).
• Experience with using data or electronic document management systems.
• Basic Quality Management System knowledge.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills required.
• Ability to plan and prioritize work to meet demanding internal and external customer demands/deadlines.
• Basic understanding of Drawings preferred
• Flexibility on overtime
Education and/or Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business preferred or will consider other degrees with applicable experience.
• Experience will be considered in lieu of degree
