You will execute day-to-day product development activities across design, development, stakeholder communication, technology vendor management and delivery. Act as the technical visionary and leader for ongoing and future software development efforts.Responsibilities:Gather business requirementsFacilitate discussion sessions with clients/customersProvide guidance to the businessIdentify gaps in requirementsCreate user stories/acceptance criteria/features/epicsAssist Architect(s) to link their technical user stories with the features/PBIsUnderstand potential dependenciesPartner with EM/Business users to understand & define scopeWork with offshore dev teams to understand user stories, answer questions, clarify requirements Create mock-upsSchedule client meetings as needed to get clarity on business needsReview user stories with Architect, QA, and PM Etc.Acquire sign-off from the clientParticipate in scrum calls, team meetings, Developer Touch point callsDocumentation:Develop Support/Help/Reference documentsDevelop necessary process documentationPrepare functional specification documents/ enter functional details into TFSMaintain project documentation in SharePoint/ Teams SiteManage Sprint Planning meetingsSchedule sprint planning meetings, Sprint retrospectives and demosGo through all the user stories with team to insure everyone is on the same page (especially with regards to requirements + acceptance criteria)Follow up and update stories as neededEnsure a sprint backlog is produced and shared with EM/Business stakeholdersAuditing TFSReady states are reflected properlyTasks are in correct statusAcceptance criteria is listed for ALL storiesControl Objectives are setImpediments are in the right statusAll user stories have story pointsTest plans are in place at least one sprint before they are needed and align to acceptance criteriaManaging the Product Backlog in VSTS with the CustomerConduct backlog grooming sessions in VSTSCreate Product backlog items in VSTS (user stories, Epic, features, defects, UAT feedback items)Involve team in prioritizing of product backlog with client (Backlog Grooming session meeting with team)Prioritize user stories based on business value, Architectural/Design Risk, dependencies)Groom Product backlog with teamTest PlanningCreate the Test Plan with all parties input required to ensure a holistic and complete view of what is required to provide a quality product.Provide a plan for the testing across the sprint cycles.Ensure we accommodate ITC cycles/ Integration & Mock Cutover tasks for testing.Ensure test data readiness and planning are aligned to delivery dates.Review test cases with QA teamsCoordination of test script automation with Automation teamManaging the Product/Application QualityReview test scripts for gaps in user story coverageSuggest additional test scenariosEncourage reuse of test scriptsSmoke test during each sprint and provide feedback on effectiveness of test scenariosProvide feedback on validity of defects foundMonitor and manage QA progress toward sprint milestonesEnsure regression testing accounted for in the release deployment inIdentify reusable and or/complex test cases that are good candidate's for Automati Management - Experience with test plan creation, automated test scripting, and load/stress testing.In-depth knowledge of software development lifecycles including Agile development and testing.Excellent written and verbal communications, organization, analytical, planning and leadership skills.Strong management, communication, technical and remote collaboration skills.Excellent team collaboration skills, to include experience in dealing with multiple projects and multi-functional teams, and ability to coordinate across teams in a large matrix organization environment.Strong relationship building and maintaining skills. Fosters a climate conducive to establishing positive working relationships with clients (internal and external).Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serveLimited sponsorship.For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. We would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role would land at or near the top end of the range, but such a decision will be dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
