As the Manager of Purchasing for Lazydays, this role will beworking directly with the dealership teams across the country. This position is responsible for managing the purchasing of indirect materials, capital equipment, supplies, and contracted services. In addition, the leader will own the purchasing processes (new vendor set-up, supplier performance management, contract reviews, etc.).ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:•Develops the key purchasing processes•Drives purchasing strategies to help in the following areas: cost reductions, new grow supplier identification,supplier rationalization•Works closely with the Dealership Teams to reviews acquisition costs to ensure items purchased are at thelowest cost consistent with considerations of quality, reliability of source, and urgency of need•Leads supplier business reviews, as needed, and acts as escalation point for performance issues•Oversees RFx development, competitive bid analysis, contract development and negotiations, and on-goingstrategic supplier management. This is to procure equipment, materials, parts and/or service from outsidesources.•Working with the appropriate teams, responsible for supplier selection, supplier qualifications, negotiations,established pricing and commercial terms, development/review of contracts•Manages daily purchasing activities•Contribute to the maintenance of high ethical and legal standards of Lazydays by managing and conductingLazydays' business in a professional, ethical, and impartial manner that is consistent with the Company's Codeof Conduct•Additional responsibilities as requested or requiredQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:•Minimum of 10 year's experience in purchasing with general knowledge of contract agreements, accounting,negotiating skills, and inventory management•Good management skills and ability to deal with people and work in a matrixed organization is essential•Prior supervisory experience required. Certified Purchasing Manager certification preferred•Must have excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written•Aptitude for managing multiple projects simultaneously and ensuring proper follow through and completionPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:•Availability to work 40-50 hours a week•Flexibility to cover changing work schedules as neededEDUCATION:•Bachelor's Degree in Business, Purchasing Management, or associated discipline.
