Specific Job Function: This role will be responsible for supporting all cost accounting processes. They will own analysis of all variances including inventory and cost of goods sold for Global Paragon and provide clear and concise recommendations on inflationary factors and cost control. They will support the inventory integrity process and the planning process regarding critical KPIs within the organization. This role will require cross functional teamwork with Operations, Sourcing and Commercial to provide weekly, monthly, yearly forecastsResponsibilities:Support ERP TransitionHelp drive improvement to overall business data integrityImprove effectiveness and efficiency of BOM accuracy and cost roll upsSupport & improve variance analysis - Labor/OH/AbsorptionPartner cross functionally with commercial and operations teams to improve inventory processDrive complexity reduction throughout the businessUtilize financial data to target continuous improvement opportunitiesDrive Cycle Count and Physical Inventory processes and documentationSupport transitioning Paragon from Actual to Standard Costing facilityRequirements:Minimum BS Accounting or equivalentRelevant Experience in Cost Accounting (manufacturing/assembly) - 3 yearsERP System usage experience (Any Major ERP: SAP,IFS,JDE)Makes and keeps commitmentsInsists on succeeding together with integrity (ONE Paragon across all sites)Competencies:To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies in this position:Understanding of manufacturing accounting, financial reporting, and internal control requirements of a public companyDesire and ability to grow and progress within the role and the business, future development opportunities for the right candidate!Data drivenStrategic thinkerHumilityCommercial and operational savvyExercises discipline and focus
