Most shifts are either 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM.
The Patient Care Technician provides direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse.
Required Certification includes Basic Life Support from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network.
Minimum requirements include 1 year of SNF or hospital PCT/CNA experience; OR in lieu of experience may have completed approved CNA school (with clinicals); Nursing Student with completion of Nursing Fundamentals; or EMT certification / Paramedic license for ER only.
Required: BayCare Patient Care Technician Course within 90 days, if candidate does not have prior PCT experience.
