Overview:
Seeking a full-time commercial escrow assistant to be a part of the Tampa Commercial Services Department of FNF – Florida Agency.
Duties:
Open Orders
Send out Title work / Draft Preliminary Invoices
Request Updates - Title/Closing/Policy
Intake of Closing Doc Packages - scan to file, review and prep for recording
Process Incoming Monies / Revise Invoices at Closing / Transfers
Book Premium / Fees
Post-Closing Functions
-documentation recordation
-confirm receipt of all title requirements for file
Policy Typing
Any Post-Closing / Accounting Issues – (i.e. dormant file review)
Prepare monthly order count and revenue reports
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience assisting with closing commercial and/or residential transactions
Any experience with closings is a plus
Additional Information:
Job Requirements:
Familiar with banking and escrow functions
Knowledge of closing functions: open orders, deliver commitments, disburse, record, return closing packages, policies and recorded docs, order updates, municipal lien searches etc.
Knowledge of TitleWave, RamQuest, SmartView and/or Excel are a plus
Ability to prepare/revise title commitments, proformas and policies is a plus
Ability to work in office (and remotely when approved)
Ability to multi-task & be a team player is a must
