What we're looking for:
If you’re a mid level developer looking to join a dynamic, best-in-class team and grow your skillset - we want to talk to you! Your day-to-day responsibilities will include providing ongoing maintenance for a wide variety of websites (mostly hosted on Wordpress), assisting in full site builds from concept to completion,  collaborating with cross-functional teams (such as design, content, and search) regarding website performance and finding opportunities for optimization, and providing as needed support for DNS and SMTP configuration.
The ideal candidate has a strong sense of accountability and pride in their work and is able to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast paced environment. Prior agency experience and a proven track record of meeting deliverables successfully in a remote working environment is preferred for this role.
We have a hybrid virtual working environment, so it will be your choice to work from home or our Tampa Bay office – meeting deadlines and being available for scheduled collaboration time are the major requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Work with development lead to plan, build, launch and maintain websites
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for a wide-range of mostly WordPress websites
• Provide recommendations to internal stakeholders regarding website performance and existing opportunities
• Simultaneously manage long term projects alongside daily standard service requests
Requirements:
• Experience in WordPress and a WordPress development role
• Experience with HTML, CSS and Javascript
• Experience using Elementor/Elementor Pro as a builder
• Experience using third party tools to integrate different platforms/plugins
• Experience with DNS configuration and hosting platforms (WPEngine, Cloudways, AWS)
• A basic knowledge of user experience, website performance and website design
• A basic knowledge of website tracking/analytics/measurement
• Ability to work independently, as well as a part of a team
• Ability to strategically manage workload, respond to emergency requests, and work within a project management system to stay on timelines
• Proven track record of meeting deliverables successfully in a remote working environment
