Full-Time Lutz Ops Building Job Details Description GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION The position is responsible for performing operational support duties related to the processing, reporting, packaging/selling the Guaranty, and servicing of SBA & USDA Loans. These tasks include maintenance of accurate system records, customer service, payment postings and reconciliations. This position must remain aware of and adhere to established policies and procedures, while ensuring alignment with bank and government regulations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Pull and Review the Delinquency Reports for SBA 7a and USDA B&I loans. This duty is performed weekly, about 10% of the time. 2. Process loan payments for SBA 7a and USDA B&I loans. This duty is performed monthly, about 20% of the time. 3. Post Cash Items to the SBA DDA/Investor Account. This duty is performed daily, about 20% of the time. 4. Transfer funds to the appropriate GLs or DDA for SBA & USDA wires. This duty is performed daily, about 10% of the time. 5. Prepare, edit, research and maintain (FTA) 1502 reporting. This duty is performed monthly, about 50% of the time. 6. Provide customer service to lenders and SBA & USDA Portfolio Managers including answering inquiries related to loan files, account balances, and payoff requests for SBA 7a and USDA B&I loans. This duty is performed daily, about 50% of the time. 7. Submit SBA loan deferment and modification documents to loan servicing and E-Tran. This duty is performed as needed, about 10% of the time. 8. Assist portfolio managers with preparation of loan servicing actions and E-Tran servicing adjustments. This duty is performed as needed, about 10% of the time. 9. Prepare and submit notices to the borrower for late payments, collection, default, and liquidation. This duty is performed daily, about 10% of the time. 10. Contact the Loan Officer or Collateral Site Inspection vendor to perform required site inspections for all loans more than 50 days past due; and annual site inspections as required by the SBA SOP. This duty is performed as needed, about 10% of the time. 11. Review fully funded loans for documentation exceptions. This duty is performed daily, about 10% of the time. 12. Prepare the unsold loan report for approval to sell the guaranteed portion of the SBA 7a & USDA loans; submit a request for Ï¿½bidsÏ¿½ to the investors, submit the BIDS to the Dept Manager for approval to sell; package folder and submit documents to the investors, and prepare the 1086 Agreement, submit confirmations to the EVP/CLO to prepare the allocations to the Accounting Dept.  Inform the Region where the loan is booked that the guaranty/loan has been sold. This duty is performed monthly, about 20% of the time. 13. Prepare the Packages for SOLD loans, execute the 1086 Broker Agreement, submit to Broker/SBA/Dept Mgr. This duty is performed quarterly, about 20% of the time. 14. Update and Monitor the SBA Watch List for all SBA/USDA loans. This duty is performed weekly, about 5% of the time. 15. Orders valuation updates on real estate collateral. This duty is performed as needed, about 5% of the time. 16. Obtains loan payoffs for borrower, Centennial employees (Loan Officers/Loan Officer Assistants/Credit Risk Management). This duty is performed as needed, about 10% of the time. 17. Track and resolves technical exceptions. This duty is performed daily, about 10% of the time. 18. Complete required BSA/AML training and other compliance training as assigned. This duty is performed quarterly, about 5% of the time. 19. Prepare and maintain procedures for job related duties. This duty is performed as needed, about 5% of the time. 20. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned. This duty is performed as needed, about 5% of the time. 21. Establish loan tickler/pipeline report. This duty is performed daily, about 10% of the time. 22. Process SBA Payments (Subsidiary and PPP). This duty is performed daily, about 10% of the time. 23. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Broad knowledge of such fields as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc. Equivalent to a four year college degree, plus 2 years related experience and/or training, and 12 to 18 months related management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. COMMUNICATION SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and understand common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents; Ability to respond to complex or difficult inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane, algebra, solid geometry and trigonometry. CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS SBA 1502 Reporting to the FTA Advanced level of computer and mathematical skills CAFS/ETRAN  PREFERRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Previous Banking experience SBA 7a and SBA 504 experience USDA B&I/Agricultural knowledge Secondary Market/1086 Agreement  SOFTWARE SKILLS REQUIRED Advanced: Spreadsheet, Word Processing/Typing Intermediate: Accounting, Database, Presentation/PowerPoint Basic: 10-Key, Alphanumeric Data Entry RESPONSIBILITY FOR WORK OF OTHERS Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.  Responsibilities may include but not limited to interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
