This postion requires being near or relocating to the Manheim Fredericksburg or Manheim Baltimore- Washington area. Up to 60% car travel between locations.
The Sr. Manager, Client Services is a new role in the MidAtlantic Market. The ideal candidate will pioneer the way for more market focused positions locally and be an example to follow across the country. The Sr. Manager will be responsible for driving business alignment through team development and consistency in the market resulting in a top-notch client experience.
Responsibilities:
• Partner with senior leadership and lead commercial teams across three locations in two states
• Develops overall strategic direction for the entire market's commercial team aligning with the overall business goals
• Assess market strengths and opportunities and implements change that results in a positive, consistent client experience within the market
• Focuses on providing development opportunities for all commercial team members
• Partners with site leadership to Identify opportunities to increase revenue within the parameters of client contracts
• Supports new business development initiatives and actively engages in local client acquisition
• Ensures commercial team is meeting goals and compliant with all client contracts
• Serves as an escalation point for clients
• Travels frequently between locations to provide support when and where needed
Qualifications:
• Equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
• BA/BS and with at least 10 years experience in a management/leadership role
• Master's Degree and with at least 8 years experience in a management/leadership role
• Ph.D. and with at least 8 years experience in a management/leadership role
• At least 14 years in a management/leadership role
• Experience in the automobile industry or the auction business preferred.
• Extensive experience building and maintaining internal and external client relationships through effective consultative sales techniques and approaches.
• Ability to foster productive and professional internal and external business relationships.
• Effective communication and interaction skills.
• Effective management, customer service, and organizational skills required.
• Knowledge of contract and title regulations.
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Good computer and software knowledge essential.
• AS400 experience preferred.
• Ability to sit, stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
• Vision abilities required include close, distance, color, and depth perception.
