ORGANIZATIONAL SUMMARY:
Administrative Services Business Center (ASBC) provides cost-effective and efficient financial and administrative support services to all departments and offices in Administrative Services. Administrative Services consists of Facilities Management, University Police, and Parking & Transportation Services. POSITION SUMMARY:
The Administrative Clerk supports the Assistant Program Director of Administrative Services Business Center - Supply Chain Management. This position will assist in supporting the Rental Service program by verifying funding, account approval information, logging event control numbers, calendar scheduling, email customer scheduling/feedback, and event setup/breakdown and event closeout.  This position will be responsible for the Office of Administrative Services (OAS) departmental mail runs and provides support to the receiving and issuing of supplies, chain of custody forms, communication with vendors, and OAS departments? biannual spot-check inventory submittal. In addition, this position shall assist with work order requests by data cost entry, transporting supplies, and furniture/equipment to various campus locations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists in supporting the Rental Service program by verifying funding, account approval information, logging event control numbers, calendar scheduling, email customer scheduling/feedback, and event setup/breakdown and event closeout.
Responsible for the departmental mail runs and provides support to the receiving and issuing of supplies, chain of custody forms, and communication with vendors.
Assists with work order requests by data cost entry, transporting supplies, and furniture/equipment to various campus locations.
Assists with lunch and shift coverage for Shipping and Receiving Clerks, to include following procedures for receiving and issuing items. Assists with inventory of supplies annually and as needed
Assists with scanning documents, gathering reporting data, such as metrics and diversity vendor spending, processing on-demand requests, data entry into tracking database, and OAS departments' biannual spot-check inventory submittal.
Performs other duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
MINIMUM:
This position requires a high school diploma, or equivalent, with one year of general office experience. Appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
PREFERRED:
High school diploma with two or more years of experience in an office or administrative support function.  The preferred candidate will have one (1) year data entry experience for a large organization. Preference shall be given to candidates that are familiar with the campus and have experience using MS Office and the USF FAST accounting system.
SPECIAL SKILLS/TRAINING:
Physical ability to lift 50 lbs. and have trunk strength, manual dexterity, and wrist-finger movement. Current Florida driver's license required.
