SPVR PET/NUCLEAR MEDICINE Allied Health & Clinical Lab Hours: Monday-Friday + call Day Shift - Full Time Paygrade/Wages/Salary Info: EX E36 - 38.9000 - 48.8000
Position Highlights: # ###########Supervisor of PET and Nuclear Medicine is responsible for the daily operational supervision of both the PET and Nuclear Medicine department. ###########Responsible for both PET and Nuclear Medicine departments to include the direct supervision of technologists and the daily operation as it relates to organizing schedules and directing activities ###########Will assist management with the monitoring the quality, safety, productivity and the appropriateness of services provided to achieve the best-individualized care possible for all patients based on age appropriateness. # The Ideal Candidate: # ###########Will have a Bachelor#s degree ###########Has knowledge of licensing, regulatory and credentialing bodies such as JCAHO, State, NMCTB, ACRIN and other agencies in a medical environment. ###########Has interpersonal skills to provide effective leadership to staff and maintain a collaborative working relationship in an interdisciplinary model. # #Responsibilities: # ###########Responsible for oversight and receipt of, decay/disposal and documentation for all Nuclear and PET/CT pharmaceuticals. ###########Leads and directs the work of other technologist. ###########Responsible for both PET and Nuclear Medicine departments to include the direct supervision of technologists and the daily operation as it relates to organizing schedules and directing activities as well as evaluating work quality. ###########Assist management with monitoring the quality, safety, productivity and the appropriateness of services provided ###########Understand and evaluate new equipment based on industry trends and make recommendations to the department. # Credentials and Qualifications: # ###########Graduate of a Committee of Allied Health Education and AMA accredited Radiology or Nuclear Medicine program is required. ###########Associate#s degree required. ###########Florida license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist required. ###########Minimum 5 years previous Nuclear Medicine experience required. ###########Minimum 1 year in a supervisory role in Nuclear Medicine required. ###########ARRT certification required. ###########NMTCB certification required ###########Current BLS required.
