Six years of relevant experience, or an associate degree and four years of relevant experience, may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.A graduate of the Joint Logistics Course or equivalent program.Responsibilities:The Strategic Planner/Logistics synchronizes and implements logistics planning with counterparts in USCENTCOM Component Commands, other Combatant Commands, the Joint Staff, the Office of Secretary of Defense, Defense Logistics Agency, and counterparts in other Federal Departments and Agencies.Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:Develop logistics plans, exercises, and training activities using the Joint Operational Planning Process (JOPP) and Joint Doctrine as outlined in Joint Publications 4-0 and 5-0.Advise the USCENTCOM on sustainment and logistics functions in support of the USCENTCOM AOR.Provide analyses, recommendations, and draft products for the logistics planners' approval, in the development of analyses, estimates, exercise objectives, and briefings for primary staff.Provide technical recommendations to logistics planners regarding the Joint Operational Planning Process, Joint Operational Planning and Execution System (JOPES), Adaptive Planning and Execution (APEX), and Joint Doctrine.Support planning efforts that require knowledge of military planning, training and exercising techniques and procedures. Participate in a cross-Directorate team of joint, multinational and or interagency planners.Provide logistics expertise and write logistics equities and tasks into USCENTCOM plans and orders in accordance with Joint Publication 5-0.Collaborate the CCJ4 on strategic and regional logistics concerns.Qualifications:The candidate must have the following qualifications:Minimum five years of strategic logistics planning experience.Minimum three years planning experience at the Geographic or Functional Combatant Command Headquarters.Travel: Travel required to AOR.Other Requirements:We seek: Highly-motivated self-startersResourceful individuals with extraordinary intellectual capability and the ability to rapidly learn and apply new conceptsIndividuals who have a "let me try" attitude and are resilient, present an opinion/position, justify it, and then accept whatever decision is made and charge forwardIndividuals who view criticism as an opportunity to improve ("let me try again")Individuals who think and create, enhancing the company with a steady flow of fresh ideas, perspective, and energy.Direct Inquiries and Resumes to:Damon MarshallCorporate RecruiterGemini Industries Inc.1408 N.
