Job Description
The candidate in this role is an innovative, results driven professional with great people skills, deep expertise in Trade Finance Operations, and extensive experience in driving projects, with a robust continuous improvement background.  This position will work across lines of businesses, geographies and verticals to drive broad change in systems, processes, drive improved controls and enhanced client experience for internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities
• The Operations Manager role will be experienced both as an individual contributor and leader
• Develop meaningful metrics to measure transactions (aging), process quality and productivity, providing meaningful feedback to Business and Operations teams
• Standardize the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to minimize learning downtime, ensuring understanding of the role and ensuring consistency in the performance of duties.
• Lead all internal and external audits to ensure a satisfactory rating
• Contribute to the strategy and execution of Process Re-engineering and Continuous Improvement of workflows to support Global Trade Finance Operations
• Responsible to drive the Innovation across the organization to identify and support process automation and improvement
• Develop strategies and set priorities that enable successful execution to help deliver best-in-class standard
• Drive tactical and strategic execution of key initiatives, on point for multiple projects taking appropriate action to ensure timely and effective program oversight
• Change agent with strong credibility and influence at all levels within the organization, strong ability to influence and interact with Executive level management
• Drive culture of Innovation through visible hands-on leadership
• Plan and execute projects, with urgency, and ensure alignment with business strategy
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders, decision makers and colleagues to ensure organizational goals are met
• Responsible for partnering with key stakeholders in order to understand the strategy, direction and roadmap objectives for the business
• Responsible for management, support, career development, mobility for our people
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or other business related course of study
• 10+ year proven track record at executive level with Trade Finance
• Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leadership and lead a team to understand business goals and analyses opportunities
• Demonstrated strong collaborative problem-solving skills evidenced by results in past positions
• Strong Trade technical background, with an ability to redesign work flow and efficient throughput within Trade Finance operations
• Strong communicator with ability to communicate with employees at all levels across the organization, from front-line associates to executives through written as well as verbal communication
• Demonstrated Change Management experience
• Proven ability to meet deadlines, and work in fast-paced environment while managing activities of more senior people within work streams
• Proven ability to handle confidential information appropriately
• Willing to stand up for their ideas within appropriate guidelines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) Skills
