The Lead DevSecOps Engineer will contribute towards new project implementations related to integration to the Jenkins platform that is the backbone for all systems and applications at DTCC.
What you’ll do:
• The Transformation Squads enable CI/CD solutions realizing software and infrastructure deployment automation into highly regulated and controlled environments.
• The role creates and delivers automation solutions that meet varying end-user/customer demands while maintaining strict security and availability standards
• The focus of this role is to realize business, technical, and control group requirements through the application of Software Implementation Lifecycle tasks.
• This is a role with focus on automation engineering including, but not limited to, design, code, documentation, test and supporting activities. The work will leverage a mix of front-end, back-end, middleware, transactional and database skill sets and experience.
• You will work closely with Development and Infrastructure teams to define, program, test and deliver DevSecOps and middleware software solutions on a combination of traditional and Cloud (AWS/Azure) Platforms using Agile methodologies.
• You will engage in direct application development activities (programming: design, code, test) supporting agile teams toward the rapid adoption of DevSecOps practices and toolsets.
• You will operate as a vital component of an Agile Squad. As a senior squad member, you will collaborate with Development, Architecture, and Infrastructure to implement technical designs. You will be engaged as a Subject Matter Expert.

• Minimum of 6 years of related experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience as a Java & Python Software Developer or DevOps & Build Release Engineer with a understanding of Business-Driven software integration and delivery approach.
• 3+ years of experience in Object Oriented Programming concepts and Spring 3.x, Spring Dependency Injection (IOC, MVC, JDBC, JMS, etc.), and Hibernate
• 3+ years of experience in web services-RESTful with knowledge of RESTful API design patterns
• 3+ years of experience as a Software Developer or DevOps & Build Release Engineer with a understanding of Business-Driven software integration and delivery approach.
• 3+ years of experience with Chef and Ansible configuration management framework technologies.
• 2+ years of experience in building MVC based web applications using JSP/Struts framework.
• Is experienced in application life cycle management which includes compilation, packaging, and release management from one environment to other environments and deploying to servers leveraging tools like Git, Maven, Nexus, BitBucket, and other CICD tools.
• Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS, Angular JS and Bootstrap
• Understands principles and best practices of Software Configuration Management in Agile methodologies.
• Has familiarity with Tomcat, WebLogic, Linux, Database and Application server’s administration in a global production environment.
• Working knowledge & experience of various cloud technologies (AWS and/or Azure)
• Experienced in using Jenkins CI/CD tool for End-to-End application build and deploy automation.
• Has expertise in trouble - shooting problems generated while building, deploying and in production support.
• Passionate about learning new tools, languages, philosophies, workflows, and automation of processes.
