Job Summary: The Resident Pharmacist operates in a more clearly defined area of practice and/or provides a specialized scope of pharmacy services as specified by the Residency Program Director, Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator, and Director of Pharmacy.  Residents will serve as a resource person for Medical, Nursing, and Pharmacy Staff.  Residents will participate in the development of new services, systems and skills within the Pharmacy Services Department. The Pharmacy Resident supervises pharmacy technicians and interns.  When need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by the Residency Program Director, Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator, and Director of Pharmacy.

Graduate of accredited School or College of Pharmacy and Doctor of Pharmacy degree required.

Active Florida Pharmacist License must be obtained within 3 months of starting residency
