Food Services Cook II - Riverview
BayCare Health System is currently in search of our newest Food Services Cook who is passionate about providing outstanding food and customer service to our community at St. Joseph’s Hospital South. This innovative facility is specially designed to make patients and visitors as comfortable as possible during their hospital experience and offers a variety of amenities.
The Food Services Cook II is responsible for the preparation of foods according to the standardized recipes, and production methods. Ensures high quality using safe, sanitary food handling techniques during preparation, service and storage and daily quality control checks. This position requires ServSafe Manager food safety certification within 1 year of hire. Duties include:
• Works multiple production stations and conducts quality control checks on taste, temperature and presentation on patient, cafeteria, and catering foods.
• Trains and orients selected staff on food production and safety and sanitation practices.
• Is lead of production in absence of Executive Chef according to facility and performs other duties as necessary.
