Position: Entry Level Accounting Assistant (Hiring Immediately)

Overview:
Avenica is currently recruiting for a entry-level accounting assistant. This is a great position for candidates looking to combine their communication and analytical skills in a professional environment. An accounting assistant is responsible handling data entry and projects within the finance industry, with great attention to detail as well as handling many policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Bachelor's (4 year) degree
Ability to work in office or a hybrid model (After 90 days)
Responsibilities :
• Working projects from beginning to end
• Using excel to keep track of data and explain financial concepts (Pivot tables)
• Running commission statements and handling company expense reports
• Reviewing transactions and creating cash receipts
• Data entry
Candidates that do well:
• Candidates with strong analytical and attention to detail skills
• Ability to communicate with many different established contacts relating to revenue
• Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Comfortable handling complex financial matters
• Someone who is looking for a long term career in the finance industry
