Job Title: Payroll Tax Specialist
Location: 100% REMOTE
Duration: 6-month contract with a High possibility for conversion
Day to Day:
• The PEO Tax Reporting Specialist will assist in tax reporting compliance activities as they relate to PEO level reporting regulatory requirements.
• The person in this position will be knowledgeable in payroll tax returns, payroll tax, audit tax records, respond to internal/external inquiries regarding tax compliance, and assist in ensuring PEO tax accounts are compliant through the following duties.
Must Have:
• 3+ years of experience in Payroll Tax.
• Superior customer service skills. Customer focused when servicing clients and colleagues.
• Consistent and sustained quality in data entry and ability to meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• High commitment to professional ethical standards, a diverse workplace, and confidentiality.
• Ability to adapt to a fast paced continually changing business and work environment
• Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks and projects
• Ability to audit detail in Payroll and Tax Software.
• Knowledgeable on web-based payroll software.
