Job Description
Ashley Global Retail LLC has an opening for a Senior UX Architect in Tampa, FL.
Analyze eCommerce software platform functionality and software component interfaces, and design, test, and develop information architecture and platform to meet those needs with a focus on ensuring that user experience elements meet or exceed the needs of our users, best practices and our desired user experience as defined through research and analysis. Create a variety of models and diagrams to demonstrate software design needed to achieve platform UX goals, including developing a UX roadmap for the Company's eCommerce software platform, supporting organizational strategies as well as guest, customer and user journeys. Support user experience strategy, creation, adoption and measurement. Ensure that eCommerce software platform functions as intended, including maintenance and optimization of UX based on data-driven insights. Work closely with the business, the business and other internal cross-functional team members to ensure current ecommerce projects are functioning as designed and documented. Ensure business and functional specification documentation is complete and all cross-functional parties are aligned. Provide scope requirements when needed; provide feedback and perform user-acceptance testing (UAT) as required. Support enhancements and bug fixes and serve as an internal technical contact for user experience concerns. Conduct research and analysis to generate explicit user experience requirements for all digital channels and devise optimal UX designs and new technology integrations. Conduct stakeholder interviews to elicit business requirements and perform audits of existing and proposed user experience via competitive analysis, feature/function benchmarking, heuristic evaluation and other methodologies. Modify eCommerce software platform by developing new and intuitive approaches to UX design and architecture. Develop eCommerce software platform to ensure best in class user experience and interoperability across desktop, mobile, and tablet platforms; this may include responsive design, mobile-site, mobile app, tablet app, etc. Utilize business requirements and research findings to conceive and model clean and effective eCommerce software platform designs. Define relevant user flows and journeys for specific functionality. Create key artifacts such as scenarios, user flows, style guides, mock-ups, rapid prototypes and other fundamental documentation to ensure the business and IT are in sync on the design of the final solution. Collaborate with the UX team on designs, standards and style guide. Continually iterate on designs based on feedback, research data and application performance. Clearly articulate and justify design decision and present designs at all levels of the business. Partner with the ecommerce team to establish, measure and monitor the relative efficacy of UX in eCommerce software platform, and make periodic adjustments and modifications to ensure the eCommerce software platform remains relevant to functionality and business requirements. Full-time, 40 hours per week.
Job Requirements
Position requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Studies, or related field, and 2 years of experience with user experience design. Alternatively, will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Studies, or related field, and 5 years of experience with user experience design.
Also must have work experience with:
· 1) Two years of experience in the one of the following wireframing softwares: Axure RP, Invision Studio, or Adobe XD;
· 2) Creating clickable interactive prototypes which are presented to stakeholders with annotations;
· 3) Two years of experience working in Adobe Creative Suite – including Photoshop, Illustrator, and either Adobe XD, Axure, or graphic UI elements;
· 4) Working in both Desktop and Mobile environments and maintaining responsive websites; and
· 5) Working in a cross-functional, Agile process with internal and external customers.
