This role is responsible for driving risk resilience via BMS’s Business Continuity Management (BCM) Program with a focus on progressing the maturity levels of Business Unit BCM Programs across the Enterprise and improving the comprehensiveness of enterprise-wide Business Continuity planning.
This role is responsible for driving and managing BCM initiatives related to the continuous improvement of the BCM Program. Finally, as part of the continuous improvement responsibilities, this role will identify, capture, and track BCM related metrics to ensure the continued improvement and maturity of the BCM Program.
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
+ Drives consistency across BU BCM planning via standardization and technology (in cooperation with BCM IT Business Partner)
+ Supports BU BCM Programs to advance and mature their capabilities
+ Identifies cross functional risk areas to ensure readiness in planning with input from Enterprise Risk Management, current events, and BCM stakeholders
+ Tracks BCM residual risk, as reported by BU BCM Leads
+ Manages BCM Initiatives in collaboration with the BCM Program Manager
+ Provides input and support to the Business Continuity Management and Continuous Improvement Lead related to audit inquires and response
+ Supports the development and improvement of existing BCM Policies and Procedures, as needed
+ Drives measures and metrics to report adherence; leverages metrics as one mechanism to identify improvement opportunities
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements
+ 5+ years experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, reliability, resiliency, and/or risk management
+ 5+ years experience working cross functionally and globally
+ Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in a related field is required
+ ISO 22301 Certification or equivalent required
+ Business Continuity Management experience
+ Experience working with/influencing senior level executives
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience with crisis/Event response preferred
