Responsibilities:
•  Insuring that equipment, such as life support/mechanical ventilators etc. are decontaminated, processed, re-assembled, calibrated and operationally checked according to manufacturer specifications.
• Delivers, monitors, maintains and safeguards medical grade gases throughout the facility, including cylinders of various sizes and liquid oxygen systems.
• Performs adjustments and repairs on selected equipment in consultation with the Biomedical Department.
• Ensures that equipment and supplies are accessible, in good condition and of sufficient quantity to meet patient care needs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Education Required:
• High School or Equivalent
• Associate's Preferred
Specific Skills Required:
• Work independently
• Equipment Assembly
• Decontamination and Calibration
•  Identifies and Safely Uses Medical Gases, and Mechanical Repair.
• Work with minimal supervision
• Organizational skills
