The Clinic Integration Manager is responsible for the overall direction and leadership of a diverse, multi-disciplinary team supporting the integration of 1-3 newly acquired, geographically dispersed and diverse medical clinic(s) into WellMed.  The Clinic Integration Manager is accountable for the outcome of the assigned clinic(s) integrations. The role requires solid relationship, organization, critical thinking, and communication skills, along with initiative and a WellMed values-based mindset. The Clinic Integration Manager must be able to effectively build and maintain relationships with the incoming practice partners (ie. providers and staff), the clinic Integration support team, cross-functional WellMed/Optum departments, vendors, and local market operations teams to build trust, solicit cooperation, resolve clinic-level problems, and achieve a successful integration (per established WellMed standards and timeline). The Clinic Integration Manager must effectively communicate the clinic level Integration plan and status with the incoming practice partners, the Integrations team, and with Integrations, local market, and WellMed leadership.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Build Teams/Leadership - Build, direct, lead, manage, and develop culturally and professionally diverse teams of Integration Managers and Integration Practice Consultants that are collaborative, inclusive, and produce results
• Relationships/Role Model - Demonstrates ability to cultivate and sustain relationships and leadership with culturally and professionally diverse individuals and teams including but not limited to clinic providers, support staff, market and integration partners. Ensures that everyone is treated with dignity and respect at all times
• Model the WellMed values
• Produce results - Leads the operational planning and management of the integration projects and teams to ensure goals and objectives are accomplished per established timelines and to established standards.  A successful integration consists of retained/satisfied providers & staff, sustained/increased membership growth and access to care, sustained/decreased healthcare costs, sustained/improved quality metrics, and sustained/increased revenue upon transition to the market operations team
• Manage conflict - Respectfully/professionally implements conflict resolution techniques for complex/emotionally challenging scenarios
• Transformation/Change Initiatives - Use compassion, empathy, communication, and transparency to transition practices that have been a provider’s life’s work for years/decades to new processes/systems/policies established by a large medical group
• Process Improvement - Identify, direct, communicate, and execute continuous quality improvement activities or processes to enhance the integration experience and ensure standards are met in accordance with established timelines
• Network & Collaborate - Coordinates and supports cross-organizational partnerships and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to provide technical assistance and resolve issues
• Communication/Information Management - Acts as the liaison between the providers and staff, Integration managers, and multiple supporting departments from across the organization. Effectively manages the lateral and vertical flow of information between all involved, ensuring consistent messaging and synchronized actions
• Managing Team Boundaries - Provides direction in support of company or clinic issues and ensures proper resolution and dissemination of information to parties involved
• Interact with Leaders - Effectively communicates integration plans, statuses, and issues/barriers up the leadership chain. Researches, and prepares project analysis reports, interprets information pertaining to integration efforts, and makes recommendations to senior management
• Manage the Work - Oversees and coordinates the integration work plan using designated management platforms/tools and uses performance measures and available reports/information to ensure work is being completed on time to standard and within the scope of authority
• Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field or 4 years of comparable work experience beyond the years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a bachelor’s degree
• 4 years in the healthcare field, with an emphasis in clinic operations or staff training and development
• 2 years of supervisory/management experience
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to interface effectively both externally and internally with a wide range of people including physicians, office staff, and leadership
• Knowledge of organization policies and procedures and ability to read, interpret and apply
• Knowledge of and skills with tools used in Healthcare Operations: EMR, Practice Management System, Clinic Operations, and related systems
• Ability to travel approximately 90%

Preferred Qualifications:
• MA, LPN, or RN license / certification
• 5 years of directly related experience in medical practice management
• 3 years of experience in staff training and development
• Supervisory experience within a clinic setting
Physical & Mental Requirements:
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Ability to push or pull heavy objects using up to 50 pounds of force
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time
• Ability to use fine motor skills to operate office equipment and/or machinery
• Ability to receive and comprehend instructions verbally and/or in writing
• Ability to use logical reasoning for simple and complex problem solving
If the hired individual resides in Florida (office based or telecommuting) this position requires the AHCA Level II background check (fingerprinting) by the State of Florida for all clinicians that have direct face to face contact with members OR employees who will have access to confidential patient data and will require renewal every five years.
