The Compensation Analyst II is a vital part of Windstream’s Human Resources team focused on providing professional level compensation analysis and support for Windstream’s various compensation programs.  This is a remote position.
What You’ll Do:
• Provide day to day support for compensation needs coordinating closely with HR Business Partner and Business Leaders.
• Assist in the analysis and administration of reward programs including base pay, incentive pay and other reward programs.
• Actively participates in regular compensation activities including annual compensation planning, salary survey participation, and compensation administration. Remains abreast of industry trends and compensation practices to ensure effective use of market data.
• Provide accurate and timely pay analytics to assist senior leaders in driving sound compensation decisions.
• Provide ad hoc data requests to compensation staff in a timely and accurate manner.
• Partner with Tapfin and internal recruiting team to advise on salary recommendation for contractors.
• Collaborate with HRIS and other HR teams to improve HR processes.
• Manage or contribute to special projects as needed.
• You will report to the Director of Compensation & Talent Development.
Job Requirements
Do You Have:
• College degree or equivalent and 3-5 years professional level job related experience.
• Strong experience working with HR Data & Systems (e.g., PeopleSoft)
• Strong experience in job evaluation methodologies
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with exceptional attention to detail
• Advanced Excel skills to develop and maintain spreadsheets and perform data analysis
• Strong project management skills to manage deadlines and organize and prioritize competing deliverables
• A team player, with a proactive mindset and attune to numbers
• Strong interpersonal skills; listening, verbal communications, and writing skills. Professional work experience in compensation, finance, or sales.

Minimum Requirements:
College degree and 3-5 years professional level experience or 7 years professional level related experience or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience required.
