HEALTH DATA SERVICES PROGRAM MANAGER Business & Information Technology Hours: Monday - Friday Day Shift - Full Time Paygrade/Wages/Salary Info: EX E37 - 40.8500 - 51.2500
The Health Data Services Program Manager provides functional and program oversight of initiatives related to Moffitt#s enterprise-wide analytics and informatics strategies as well as the ongoing development of Moffitt#s cloud-based analytics platform and data warehouse, Moffitt Cancer Analytics Platform (MCAP). This position manages simultaneous projects and operational activities related to these initiatives recognizing that they cross multiple clinical, research, and administrative domains.## The Program Manager partners with leaders from Health Informatics, Data Quality # Standards, Business Intelligence, Cancer Registry, and Advanced Analytics to define priorities and identify opportunities for alignment to enable efficiencies and achieve cross-departmental synergies. This position represents the Office of Health Data Services in collaboration with peers in Information Technology and Digital Innovation and advances the goals of Moffitt#s Center for Digital Health.# The ideal candidate will possess:# A minimum of five (5) years of experience leading multidisciplinary projects in a healthcare setting# General understanding of hospital operations, common IT infrastructure and privacy security requirements (e.g., HIPAA)## Functional understanding in the use of program and project management concepts and practices## Foundational knowledge and experience in the use of process improvement approaches such as Agile and Six Sigma## Experience in managing multiple projects, including participation in various committees and task forces# Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of faculty, users, and support staff# Ability to demonstrate collaboration with diverse stakeholder groups, including research, clinical, and administrative faculty and staff# Presentation skills, including ability to present to leadership groups across the organization# Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities# Problem solving skills and the ability to consistently exercise sound judgment and initiative in complex clinical and business problems# Dedication to a positive attitude, strong customer service support, and commitment to the achievement of Moffitt#s strategic goals# Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment as well as work independently# Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, in all dealings with business associates and clients# High moral and ethical standards in all dealings with clients and business associates# Preferred:# Working knowledge of oncology, genomics, data warehousing, cloud computing, programming languages, and/or medical ontologies# Education and Credentials Required:# A Bachelor#s Degree in Informatics, Information systems, Information Technology, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field.# A Master#s Degree in Informatics, Information systems, Information Technology, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field is preferred.# Project management certification - Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred# Agile certification - PMI Certified Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Scrum Master Certified (SMC), Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred#
