Grants Administrator II Administrative & Clerical Support Hours: Monday - Friday Day Shift - Full Time Paygrade/Wages/Salary Info: NE N27 - 25.0500 - 31.4500
Position Highlights: Independently able to provide a variety of administrative guidance and grant related support functions for the Program. Involves developing of complex grant submissions, performs budget forecasting, monitors funding activities, training, resolves accounting issues, independent decision making, and functions as a liaison for Program. Coordination of Training and Mentorship. Provide support to faculty submitting grant applications by independently coordinating all proposal preparation activities and performing award management activities for funded projects. Coordinates complex grant proposals and possesses an understanding of budgeting principles. The Ideal Candidate: Able to seek out new funding opportunities to assist PI. Able to organize priorities, manage multiple projects simultaneously, pay close attention to detail, and work within deadlines. Establish collaborative relationships with a diverse set of individuals and be able to work in a team-oriented environment across all levels with a focus on customer service and support. Experience providing administrative support and possess strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, and have strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office applications. Responsibilities: Facilitates additional activities required of complex grants, including internal and external advisory boards, other recurring meetings, and pilot project programs and oversee travel arrangements. Provide administrative support including, but not limited to, maintaining faculty CVs, Biosketches, publications, and grant related support information. General grant duties. Coordinate, prepare and submit protocols to the SRC Office. Coordinate IRB approvals with other institutions also reviewing the protocols. Credentials and Qualifications: Bachelor#s Degree required with a minimum 6 years grant related experience required. Ten years of grant related experience in lieu of degree.
