Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop and deliver claims training programs, including the instructional design of training programs.
• Deliver formal classroom training session for claims professionals on relevant topics.
• Provides mentorship to claims professionals to improve results.
• Execute on claims strategies to achieve claims quality, customer service and operational objectives.
• Establish training and development plans for all new hires and monitor their progress.
• Create tracking processes to monitor and evaluate training progress.
• Conduct needs assessments and training opportunities based on audit and claim review results.
• Maintain training materials used with the Claims organization.
• Mentor new and tenured claims professionals.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.
Education, Experience and Licensing Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in personal lines claims.
• At least 2 years’ experience leading training for adult learners; developing and delivering both in-person and remote training in a professional environment.
• Broad knowledge of claims process, including personal homeowner’s lines.
• Licensed claims adjuster with Florida state experience.
• Proficient using the Microsoft Office suite of programs with an emphasis on Word and Excel.
• Insurance designation (AIC, SCLA, CPCU) is a plus.
