Full Job Description
Ascendo Resources is looking for a Logistics Coordinator / Customer Support Coordinator for our Client based out of Deerfield Beach, FL.
They ideally want someone that has advanced Excel – Pivot Tables / V-Lookups and SAP
Hours: M-F, 8-5pm
This position will report to both the Area Manager and Lead Customer Support Coordinator. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide support to internal and external customers for sales and billing functions. The position is part of a team supporting cement/aggregates and/or concrete/block operations.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Successfully complete training for all cement group and/or Ready-Mix product lines, customer service, billing and others related functions (training provided).
· Comply with all Safety Policies, attend department and site safety meetings, participate in safety committees and programs (Near miss reporting, STAs, Workplace Exams, Pre-Shift Inspections, etc.).
· Communicate with customers, sales, credit, accounting, scale houses, internal plants, dispatch, haulers and outside vendors, creating a positive customer experience and relationship.
· Manage all needs of customer accounts, including research and resolution of billing issues, follow up of product returns, and load diversions.
· Employ problem solving techniques to resolve complex issues.
· Develop professional criteria of when to engage other parties.
· Use of SAP, JWS, Integra and/or other systems (dependent on business division).
· Set up and maintain customer master price list for external sales in multiple systems.
· Maintain all customer master files as it pertains to fuel surcharge, freight, and set up of new ship-to locations.
· Request proof of deliveries from haulers/plants.
· Coordinate with Logistics Department on all freight-related matters.
· Resolve transportation conflicts and handle unusual or difficult customer complaints.
· Provide customer support, internally and externally, to ensure maximum satisfaction.
· Have positive attitude and strong communication skills with customers and other departments.
· Be able to successfully handle heavy emails/calls in a shift.
· Multi-task and complete daily workload in a timely fashion.
· Work in a team setting; achieve team and company goals.
· Maintain good working relationships with coworkers and outside agencies’ personnel.
· Work safely with a sense of urgency.
· Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
· Must have Associates degree or customer support experience.
· Safety focused; participate in and enhance a safety-centered work culture.
· Strong mathematical skills, exceptional interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate effectively with professional oral and written etiquette.
· Problem Solving, Decision-Making, and Critical-Thinking skills; look for efficiencies to save time and/or money.
· Attention to detail, ability to stay organized, reliable and work independently.
· Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
* Strong time management and organizational skills required.
· Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) and SAP
· Must be able to speak, read and write English.
*Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
· Must possess a valid FL driver’s license.
