The Product Marketing Manager will be a player-coach sitting at the intersection of data, reporting, and analytics to help shape and deliver critical reporting and value-added data insights. This role will lead an analytics team that works in a cross-functional capacity with Marketing, Sales, Sales Ops, Sales Strategy, and Product Management to address complex business challenges. The role is responsible for developing and maintaining datasets, dashboards, and models that drive the business. The position is instrumental in applying advanced analytical techniques to transform the way we look at and derive value from our data.
This individual will demonstrate leadership, implement and monitor data policies, and ensure best data practices are followed. They should not just be an Excel and Tableau wizard, but also have experience with stakeholder presentations, data modelling, automating dashboards, and predictive analytics. Intellectual curiosity, ownership, and detail-orientation are essential.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Lead a team of Marketing Analysts that proactively communicate and collaborate with internal customers to analyze information needed and functional requirements desired to deliver actionable recommendations and insights driven by data;
• Support Marketing and Sales teams by continuously improving Tableau Dashboards and providing ad-hoc reports when needed;
• Analyze and identify new strategies through the data to improve lead generation, campaign targeting, and lead attribution to drive opportunity pipeline
• Meet with business leaders across the organization to identify and define KPIs and reporting needs by gathering and defining requirements;
• Develop and maintain Tableau Server Dashboards for key Marketing, Sales, and Executive stakeholders;
• Act as liaison between business units, IT and reporting teams to ensure the right data is captured within key ABILITY systems (Marketo, Salesforce, SalesLoft, and Internal Data Warehouse);
• Execute thorough User Acceptance Testing of analytics implementation;
• Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously. Manage and keep track of all open issues and ensure issues are resolved in timely manner;
• Oversee Marketing data acquisition and integration to ensure that all new leads and accounts added to ABILITY systems meet internal standards and are added and tracked correctly;
• Maintain and disseminate Total Addressable Market (TAM) reporting to key stakeholders within and outside of Marketing;
• Oversee the development of members of Marketing Analytics team including certifications, career development and key skills to continue improving and growing;

• Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon's Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position; and
• Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Employer.
Job Requirements:
• Minimum 10 years of experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio). Ability to do advanced techniques such as Pivot Tables, VLookups, graphs, nested logic formulas, data warehouse interfacing, vba/macro coding, flow step diagrams, etc.;
• Minimum 6 years of model building, forecasting, and predictive analytics;
• Minimum 6 years working experience with Salesforce and Marketo;
• Minimum 6 years building reports, cross-filters, and dashboards in CRM or BI systems;
• Minimum 4 years of experience with SQL databases, SQL queries, and SQL scripting for data validation;
• Minimum 3 years of experience building reports and dashboards in Tableau;
• Minimum 4 years of experience reporting marketing performance indicators (MQLs, Marketing Attribution, Lead Quality Scoring) and familiarity with pulling different Analytics reports;
• Minimum 3 years of experience with negotiating priorities, scope, and resource requirements in the delivery of large complex development projects in rapidly evolving business environment;
• Minimum 3 years of experience with statistical analysis including data normalization, identifying distributions, confidence intervals and probabilities;
• Minimum 2 years of experience with A/B testing or multivariate testing analysis;
• Minimum 1 year of management or leadership experience
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, computer science, Mathematics or equivalent experience is required
• Certification in Tableau is required.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
• Sedentary work (i.e. sitting for long periods of time);
• Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force;
• Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions;
• Subject to inside environmental conditions; and
• Travel for this position will include less than 5% locally usually for training purposes.
