Description:
A Material Planning Manager job in Tampa, FL is currently accepting applications. This is a direct-hire position with our key manufacturing client. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end material planning and execution, including strategy, organizational workload, alignment of Oracle schedules, Sales Inventory and Operational Planning (SIOP). Also, working capital optimization, supply chain data management & systems, process ownership and people development. To be considered for this role, you will have a minimum of an B.S. Degree along with 8+ years of relevant work experience.
Material Planning Manager Job Responsibilities:
*   Lead the material execution plan. Ensure material planning and execution are aligned with business strategy and support the achievement of business performance targets.
*   Lead material planning alignment with best practices
*   Ensure optimum flow of material and information from demand through supply to meet customer requirements and business performance targets.
*   Develop and deploy effective end to end business planning processes to include demand planning, supply planning, sales, inventory & operational planning
*   (SIOP) and material requirements planning.
*   Design and implement effective data management, analytics capabilities and planning systems.
*   Support customer meetings, develop reports and present as required
*   Review and update material EAC budget spread for projects
*   Ensures maintenance and optimization of ERP Schedule dates
*   Oversees the release of purchase requisitions to support the master schedule.
*   Maintains Can Builds, Schedules and non-supportive material RAILS
*   Monitors project material budget to EAC, understand and works issues
*   Staff development, including competencies and subject matter training based on SES/ASCM
*   Other duties as required or assigned
*   Track material milestone to ensure they meet budgeted billings plan
Material Planning Manager Job Requirements:
*   Bachelor"s Degree in business or technical discipline.
*   Minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain or procurement management, preferably working in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
*   Minimum of 5 years in management role.
*   APICs certification preferred.
*   Strong knowledge of ERP systems capabilities and functionality is required.
*   Ability to interpret and furnish a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram and schedule form.
*   Must be able to simultaneously manage several objectives with personnel in multiple sites, and reassign priorities as needed.
*   Strong knowledge of Microsoft office, particularly excel.
*   U.S. Person required (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident); Security Clearance preferred.
