We are searching for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to assist a busy and growing company in the Brandon/Tampa area.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
QuickBooks knowledge
Ability to prioritize, solve problems and work in a fast-paced, high volume company
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the financial processing of transactions
• Daily bookkeeping and record keeping, financial reporting and the preparation of tax records for financial audits
• Managing accounts payable using accounting software and other programs
• Handling accounts payable for separate entities and vendors
• Analyzing workflow processes
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors
• Responsible for the financial processing of transactions
• Ensuring bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures
• Processing due invoices for payments
• Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges
• Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts
• Create accounting procedures and drive best practices
• Practices critical review of financial documents for completeness and accuracy
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Ability to prioritize, solve problems and work in a fast-paced, high volume organization
