RESPONSIBILITIES
•
Responsible for laboratory testing, quality control, phlebotomy, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
•
Perform manual and automated routine blood tests.
•
Prepare specimens for microscope examination.
•
Operate laboratory equipment including centrifuges, dry bath incubators, and blood bank refrigerators.
QUALIFICATIONS
•
A.A./A.S. degree required. -
•
Florida Technician License required. -
•
National lab certification preferred. -
•
Minimum of four years experience in the healthcare field,
•
preferably in a clinical setting is required. -
•
BLS certification preferred.
