In this role, you have the opportunity to:
Work with our current Business Development Managers in the OBL/ASC market to help drive our sales and grow the business. This position will assist with new clients and build solid relationships with them while maintaining existing relationships. Other duties will include supporting the sales team on new business models, developing business strategies and pitches, managing a variety of projects, and identifying new business opportunities. This new position will work with various departments and report to the VP of Sales, Philips Interventional Solutions.
The position will require the candidate to have high level of knowledge of current and future Interventional Solutions programs and how these programs function closing deals and achieving customer/Philips satisfaction. The job will require 75% travel and can be based in any North American market.

You are responsible for:
(25%) Build the foundation of this new business .
• Development of new sales strategy, tactics, and tools that meet business objectives and customer needs
• Development of new sales strategies, processes, and creative business models specific to this market and Philips' portfolio. Many of these business models are likely to be brand new to Philips.
• Strategically building and optimizing the portfolio of products and services included
• Developing sales messaging and sales tools from scratch that are designed to deliver results
• Development and preparation for sales expansion (onboarding/product training/etc)
• Development of impactful KOL relationships and Show Sites
• Scaling of all of the above to meet market demands
(75%) Sell the existing solution. • Meet sales objectives by quickly qualifying opportunities and moving deals through the sales process
• Develop a deep expertise in customer needs with a focus on solution selling that brings the entire Philips portfolio into play
• Running point with the customer while managing and coordinating across the numerous Philips businesses and sales teams as well as 3rd party collaborators
• Guiding the customer through the entire process, not just the purchase of equipment

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL • BA or BS in Business - and/or/education/experience equivalence
• Previous successful related experience, including 5 plus years of related industry experience, 5 years of which included a successful track record in customer relationship and account management in the appropriate industry segment.
• Proven selling and customer relationship management skills with the ability to navigate a complex sales process to include stakeholders / partners.
• Strong clinical and technical knowledge, with the confidence to knowledgably engage key stakeholders such as physicians, clinical staff, nurses, department managers and supply chain to present value proposition
• Professional presence that influences desired results with both external and internal stakeholders
• Ability to effectively manage assigned accounts in terms of driving utilization, customer relationship management, problem resolution, and business planning.
• Proven effective verbal, computer, written and presentation/communication skills.
• Ability to use communication methods and strategies that influence desired results at senior levels within the assigned Accounts.
• Ability to quickly adapt and respond to job, environmental, and industry changes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to travel 75%

• Understanding of various financial mechanisms and how they can be utilized by customers to achieve different objectives (Required)
• Ability to learn a new market and develop a new sales approach (Required)
• Ability to quickly establish credibility with customer (Required)
• Ability to assess a problem quickly, determine best path to resolution, outline an action plan, and drive to closure (Required)
• Aptitude for driving collaboration between internal and external teams (Required)
• A self-starter who requires minimal day-to-day guidance (Required)
