HCA Florida West Tampa Hospital is also home to the Hospital for Endocrine Surgery , the first of its kind in our area where our team offers you a range of evaluations and treatments for endocrine tumors and disorders of the thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal glands.  We provide a wide array of services necessary for the acute diagnosis and surgical treatment of tumors of the thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal glands.  At the Hospital for Endocrine Surgery, we perform more of these surgeries than anyone. Our surgical team is committed to adrenal tumors and adrenal surgery expertise. Together, we will work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan to help assure treatment goals and objectives are met.  Treatments offered include:

West Tampa Hospital and the Hospital for Endocrine Surgery are currently accepting applications for a Florida-licensed CT Technologist on a full-time basis.  ARRT (CT) and BLS required.  Night shift availability is necessary for consideration.
The CT Technologist is responsible for producing quality diagnostic CT-acquired and diagnostic radiographic images which are ready for interpretation by the Radiologist in accordance with hospital and regulatory requirements.  The CT Tech will also maintain accurate records for each patient and procedure.

• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology
• ARRT (R) and (CT)
• Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Knowledge of the use and maintenance of equipment specific to CT
• Knowledge of anatomy, physicology, sterile technique and patient positioning techniques
• Knowledge of safety practices relative to radiation safety, hazardous materials and infection control procedures
•
Customer service abilities to include effective listening skills
•
Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
•
Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs
•
Basic computer literacy; MEDITECH proficiency a plus
