Kforce has a client in Tampa, FL that is seeking a Revenue Accountant. Responsibilities:
• In this role, the Revenue Accountant prepares journal entries and review accounting classifications in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
• Responsible for the revenue function month end close for assigned markets
• Reconcile and maintain cash clearing activity for patient service collections
• The Revenue Accountant will prepare clear, organized account analysis of all assigned balance sheet accounts emphasis on the revenue and accounts receivable function
• Participate in monthly financial reviews and provide explanations for variance inquiries related to revenue for assigned markets
• Prepare and maintain monthly revenue KPI's for assigned markets
• Assist in the preparation of year-end audit
• Seek to improve processes as needed and provide feedback to the revenue accounting manager
• As a Revenue Accountant, you will perform analytics and provide insights for revenue and A/R trends
• Perform other duties and functions as directed and/or requested
• Healthcare experience required
• Candidates qualifying for this position will have similar experience along with the skills and abilities to perform the duties mentioned
• Any relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
